Paul Pogba has revealed which Manchester United teammate he would most like to isolate with during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Frenchman said he would pick centre-back Eric Bailly as the Ivorian would keep him entertained during their time away from the pitch, and admitted he was still in touch with the other players who are training at home.
United are preparing for a return to Carrington in the coming weeks with the Premier League's restart in the offing, but for now the Red Devils stars are still having to keep themselves ticking over in their homes.
And Pogba has been taking time out to keep fans updated about his progress and how he has been handling life in lockdown. He hasn't seen some of his teammates in a while but said they were in constant communication.
'I spoke with Eric, I spoke with Andreas [Pereira], I spoke with Victor [Lindelof], I spoke with Juan [Mata], Jesse [Lingard]... we all talk, we send messages and stuff like this.
'We keep in touch and we see everyone [on screen]. 'If I had to isolate with somebody? Eric Bailly, for sure. He will make me laugh all day long!'
The 27-year-old explained his daily routine to maintain his fitness levels at home, saying he would work out in his home gym, use his exercise bike and do some ball work outside.
'I have a little home gym in my house, I can do some training, some running, some bike, go outside and do some things with the ball.
'I am just keeping busy and keeping healthy.'
Premier League chiefs are looking to restart the campaign and are in talks with figures from the Government, with an ideal return date of June 13, and Pogba knows he and his teammates must be ready to come back when called upon.
The Frenchman, who has been away from the pitch much longer than anyone else at the club with a troublesome ankle injury, stressed that they have 'no other choice' but to keep their spirits up.
'We have got to stay motivated, there is no other choice. It is a period and we don't know until when it will be like this, but I still have goals in my head and one day hopefully this [pandemic] will stop.
'And then we have to get back on the pitch, so we have to be ready. For myself, I have been out for a long time as well, so for me I just want to come back playing football.'
The World Cup winners' own injury woes have seen him make just five starts this season but the lockdown could give him a chance to step up his recovery efforts and return if and when action resumes.
