OTD in 2017, Messi scored his 500th Barca goal & showed his shirt to Madrid fans

On this day in 2017, Barcelona secured a 3-2 win in one of the best Clasico's in recent memory at Bernabeu. Messi scored his 500th goal at Barcelona - a last-gasp winner in the injury time.

Messi's winner came after Sergi Roberto made a great run from Barcelona's defense, leading to Alba's low pass across the area as Messi came charging to one-touch the ball into the corner past the diving Keylor Navas. That was Messi's second goal of the game.

That goal left the two rivals level at the top on 75 points but Madrid had one game in hand.

After scoring the goal, Messi showed his jersey to all fans at Bernabeu.
