Isco celebrates birthday in isolation: We have to value even the smallest detail

Isco celebrated his birthday on Tuesday like never before, in isolation along with the rest of Spain as a result of the coronavirus.

The Real Madrid midfielder, who turned 28, took to social media to thank everyone for their wishes and provided a message of support to his fans.

"Today is undoubtedly a special birthday, due to the confinement and the situation we are going through," he wrote in Instagram.

"I hope this helps us to realise that life is wonderful as well as short, we have to value even the smallest detail - this is what I have learned with this pandemic.

"[I would like to] send a message of encouragement to all the people who are suffering in this situation and as my mother says: Everything arrives and everything passes, and one day more is a day less," he wrote.
