While some countries consider relaxing their lockdown measures, the World Health Organisation (WHO) are warning against a second outbreak of coronavirus cases.

Wuhan has freed its 11 million citizens from lockdown and thousands of people are set to return to work in Spain.

"I know that some countries are already planning the transition out of stay-at-home restrictions," WHO director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said.

"WHO wants to see restrictions lifted as much as anyone. At the same time, lifting restrictions too quickly could lead to a deadly resurgence."

Ghebreyesus also insisted that countries must fulfil certain criteria before lifting their lockdown regulations, such as control over transmissions, an accessible health system, preventative measures, control over imported cases and a committed society to the fight against the virus.
