Romelu Lukaku is among the non-Italian players at Inter Milan who have finally been allowed to return to their home countries to be with their families after their period in quarantine ended.
Former Manchester United captain Ashley Young and Victor Moses, who is on loan from Chelsea, have flown back to England, while Christian Eriksen is now in Denmark, reports Corriere dello Sport.
Along with the rest of Inter's squad, they had been in self-isolation for 15 days as they had all potentially come into contact with Daniele Rugani during the match against Juventus on March 8.
Rugani was the first player in Serie A known to have contracted the coronavirus. Italy has been devastated by Covid-19, with nearly 7,000 deaths coming from around 70,000 confirmed cases, making it the hardest hit country during the pandemic.
None of the Inter players reported any signs of coronavirus during their quarantine.
Meanwhile, Lukaku has spoken of how he had 'great group chemistry' with his family back in Belgium as they chatted online while he was on lockdown.
He did, however, also reveal how 'you only hear the ambulance sirens going back and forth' at times in Italy.
'I already knew it was only a matter of time before some player contracted the disease,' he told Bleacher Report.
'Unfortunately it happened, now the list is getting longer.
'It's difficult because you the sport you love is missing but general health is much more important than football now.
'Workouts? Before I start again, public health should be safe.'
Young has posted a series of tweets advising people how to prevent catching or spreading the disease.
He wrote: 'Hi everyone, just wanted to share my thoughts given I'm currently living in Italy, the epicentre of the virus.'
The 34-year-old went on to detail how supermarkets pose the biggest threat to catching the virus, and explained the safest methods of buying and paying for food.
Young advised wearing masks or scarves and gloves and explained what to do if you need to get into a lift.
Crucially, the former Watford, Aston Villa and England wideman added: 'This may sound harsh but treat everybody that's not in your household as if they have the virus, you just don't know!!!'
