On this day in 2002, 18-year-old Andres Iniesta made his debut in La Liga. The midfielder featured from the bench in the 4-0 win at Mallorca, with Louis van Gaal in charge.
He has won 9 La Liga champions and 4 Champions League winners with the team.
After making 674 appearance and scoring 57 goals for Barca, Iniesta left for Japanese club Vissel Kobe.
