Leeds expect to sign Ashley Fletcher on loan

Leeds United expect to sign West Ham United striker Ashley Fletcher on loan before Tuesday's deadline.

The 21-year-old joined West Ham from Manchester United last summer and has impressed when given a chance by manager Slaven Bilic but ultimately has only started three games with the rest of his 16 appearances coming as a substitute.

Fletcher is keen to join a club of Leeds' standing and to play regularly with manager Garry Monk a fan of his workrate.

Monk believes Fletcher can give his side extra impetus in their push for promotion.
