Football is fun to watch because some players would go from hero to zero in just a month. Some of the biggest names are to feature in All Football Flops of the Month for October - and you know why.
Here, we take a look at eleven players whose performances dip so spectacularly that some of their own fans are calling them to leave the club. Make sure you vote for the captain in the end as well.
GK: Gunn (Southampton)
Southampton goalkeeper conceded 9 goals when they face Leicester City, he could do little about it and nearly let one slither under his glove. He also made mistake when they played Chelsea, his play left a lot to be desired.
DF: Bertrand (Southampton)
Bertrand was dismissed in the 12th minute following a rash challenge on Ayoze Perez when Southampton host Leicester, and almost did not get a single touch or pass right when he played Chelsea.
DF: Otamendi (Man City)
Lazy passing in the first half which let Wolves in, and poor defending in the second which led to City conceding, hard not scapegoat him for this defeat.
DF: De Ligt (Juventus)
De Ligt once again take the headlines for the wrong reasons, how many times this season Juventus have conceded because of a handball by De Ligt?
DF: Aurier (Tottenham)
Aurier dives in more often than a penguin... his positioning is awful; of course, he should have been sent off anyway.
MF: Xhaka (Arsenal)
He was booed as he walked off the pitch, and responded by making several sarcastic gestures and telling the crowd to "fuck off". He also removed his jersey before walking straight down the tunnel.
MF: Fred (Man Utd)
A frequent liability. Doubts over his mentality will persist in a game he did not actually deserve to start. Looked permanently confused.
MF: Llorente (Atletico)
The former Real Madrid player hadn't started a game since his below-par performance in 2-0 defeat at Real Sociedad, Simeone gave him a chance against Alaves but the 24-year-old failed to make an impact yet again.
MF: Lingard (Man Utd)
Lingard yet to have a shot on target in the Premier League this season, less than Watford goalkeeper Forster...
FW: Costa (Atletico)
There aren't many players Simeone trusts more than Costa, but two goals and two assists are numbers that you don't expect from a forward of his quality.
FW: Suso (Milan)
Suso, known for his ability to drive past players, lost the ball more than any other Milan player, he became a trending topic in Italy with the hashtag #SusoOut...
Coach: Emery (Arsenal)
Emery won just two of their last nine Premier League games while also exiting the EFL Cup during that time, and he said Arsenal are playing the way he wants...
Subs:
Lopes (Lyon), Musacchio (Milan), Brandt (Dortmund), Willock (Arsenal), Eberwein (Kiel), Lemar (Atletico), Coutinho (Bayern).
* Kiel midfielder Michael Eberwein has arguably made the worst first impression in football history after conceding a penalty for his side as a substitute against Bochum.
