Malaga owner Al Thani mocks the mayor of Malaga over club sale

Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Thani has reiterated that he has no intention of selling Malaga CF despite the club's dire financial situation.

The Qatari owner mocked the mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre, in a series of tweets on Friday night.

"Are you play with me Mr Broker?" he said, tagging De la Torre's account.

"I think you dream a lot week up.

"He will know with how he talk, I will never respect anyone, he do not respect Malaga CF and respect me."

Al Thani later deleted the tweets.

LaLiga are currently carrying out a thorough investigation of the Andalusian club and their financial statements and accounts.

There is a chance that they could be expelled from the league like Reus were during last season.
