On this day in 2002, 16-year-old Wayne Rooney scored the first of his Premier League goals.
Everton ended Arsenal's 30-match unbeaten run thanks to an 89th minute winner from a 16-year old named Wayne Rooney.
At the time, he was the youngest ever scorer in the competition. Wonderkid.
He went on to score 208 goals in the Premier League.
