On 1 September 2015, Martial completed a move to Man Utd for £36 million.
Former Van Gaal at that time stated:"Anthony is a naturally talented, young, multi-functional forward with great potential. I believe this is the club for him to continue his development."
Now, he has grown into a wonderful forward for Man Utd. However, the news of France international Martial's absence will be a source of frustration to Solskjaer, with him having been in impressive form at the start of the 2019-20 campaign.
