Kroos & James made debuts OTD in 2014 & still running midfield today for Madrid

Kroos and James played in their debut match against Sevilla in the 2014 UEFA Super Cup on 12 August 2014, winning their first trophy at Real Madrid.

James made his debut in the match against Sevilla, in which Real Madrid won 2–0. He played 72 minutes before being replaced by Isco.

Kroos and James were exceptional in the match aganist Valladolid. 

The German has seemed to regain his form following up on his positive performance in Vigo. Team high 5 key passes, team high of 100 touches, and a 97.7% pass accuracy from his team high 88 passes.

The Colombian was surprisingly given the start and looked great in his return for Madrid, especially the opening 45 minutes. He was calm and composed in possession and consistently produced shots which nearly found the back of the net.

Five years later, the duo is still running the Madrid midfield.
