OFFICIAL: Valencia sign Jaume Costa from Villarreal on loan with buy-out option

Valencia have completed the season-long loan signing of Villarreal defender Jaume Costa, it has been confirmed by the club.
The deal will see the experienced full-back join the Mestalla for the season, while Los Che will also have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign.
Costa will add competition to Valencia’s first choice left-back Jose Luis Gayà, while Villarreal still have new signing Alberto Moreno and Xavier Quintillà in the position.
Costa had spent nine years at Villarreal since joining their B side from Cadiz in 2010 and has made 243 first-team appearances for the Yellow Submarine.
His arrival at the Mestalla follows that of Eliaquim Mangala joining Marcelino Garcia Toral’s side from Manchester City.
