The Catalan club need to generate 70 million euros before July 1 in order to balance their books for the 2018/19 season.

The sales of Andre Gomes (just transfer to Everton permanently for €25m), Denis Suarez and Rafinha are all nearing completion, but they'll have to be finalised this week to meet the deadline.

Cillessen already completed the transfer to Valencia and Rafinha also closing in on moves to Valencia, while Barcelona are optimistic of selling Denis Suarez in the near future.

The Manchester United midfielder is Zinedine Zidane's top remaining target but Real Madrid are unwilling to stump up the £150million required.

According to Spanish publication AS, Pogba would rather play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and prefers a switch back to his old club.

Tottenham to hijack Arsenal target

Tottenham are in a battle with Arsenal for £30million-rated Saint Etienne defender William Saliba.

Arsenal have made an opening offer of £27million for Saliba. But the bid from the Emirates has been rejected and now Spurs are ready to offer the 6ft 4in star Champions League football.

Juventus could sacrifice Kean for De Ligt

Juventus are reportedly weighing up the possibility of sending striker Moise Kean to Ajax in part exchange for Matthijs de Ligt.

Juve remain locked in talks for De Ligt, with Corriere della Sera claiming there was a four-hour meeting between sporting director Fabio Paratici and the defender’s agent Mino Raiola on Monday.

Gazzetta dello Sport goes on to explain that Juve could offer Kean to help facilitate the Dutchman’s arrival, despite the considerable distance over personal terms.

Agent Pique?

According to Mundo Deportivo, Matthijs de Ligt and his partner were in Bahamas. Gerard Piqué, Shakira and their children have also travelled to this archipelago. There has been a meeting between De Ligt and Pique during the vacation.

PSG have money

PSG will 'increase their offer for De Ligt' to keep them in the hunt, It feels like there's a twist every day in the Matthijs de Ligt transfer saga.

Reports in Italy suggest Juventus have won the race for the coveted defender. However, 'Paris United' claim PSG won't be giving up on de Ligt without a fight.

PSG are now willing to offer de Ligt €10m per season, as well as €5m more in bonuses, and hope that will be enough to keep them in the hunt.
