Leganes add Celta's Claudio Beauvue

Celta Vigo forward Claudio Beauvue is travelling to Madrid on Tuesday to complete a medical at Leganes, according to reports in Spain.

La Voz De Galicia lead reports which state Guadeloupe international is set to complete a season-long loan deal at Los Pepineros.

The 29-year-old joined the Galicians in a €5m deal in January 2016 from Olympique Lyonnais but has netted only two La Liga goals in eleven starts since after rupturing an Achilles injury soon after his arrival in Spain.

Despite interest from French clubs, Beauvue is keen to stay in La Liga and was left out of Juan Carlos Unzue’s squad for their trip to Real Betis last week as his exit was close.
