On this day in 2013 - Bayern won the DFB Pokal and wrapped up the treble
In Jupp Heynckes' final game in charge, Bayern became the first German team to win the Bundesliga, the European Cup and the German Cup in the same season.
The Bavarian club finished the season with 15 wins from their final 16 matches and have only suffered one defeat since October.
Only Celtic in 1967, Ajax in 1972, PSV Eindhoven in 1988, Manchester United in 1999, Guardiola's Barcelona in 2009, and Inter Milan in 2010 previously won the treble.

Barcelona capped their La Liga title-winning season with a comfortable 4-1 win over Malaga at the Nou Camp. The result means Barcelona finish the season as champions with 100 points, matching Real Madrid's title-winning record of last season, while Malaga end their campaign in a Europa League qualifying spot.

On this day in 1988 - Former Manchester United striker, Mexico's Chicharito, Javier Hernandez was born
Hernández began his career in 2006, playing for Mexican club Guadalajara. In July 2010, he became the first Mexican player to join Manchester United, scoring 20 goals and winning the Premier League in his debut season. After falling out of favour under managers David Moyes and Louis van Gaal, he spent the 2014–15 season on loan at Real Madrid. In August 2015, Hernández signed for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen. After two seasons in Germany, Hernández returned to the Premier League and joined West Ham United. His minutes-per-goal ratio is among the most prolific in the history of the Premier League.
A Mexican international, Hernández is the country's all-time leading goalscorer. He made his debut for the national team in September 2009 in a friendly match against Colombia. He has represented Mexico at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup, the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the Copa América Centenario, the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. He was the 2011 Gold Cup's top scorer with seven goals and was named the most valuable player of the tournament.
