Duvan Zapata is Samp’s top target, but Napoli demand €25m

Duvan Zapata is reportedly top of Sampdoria’s wishlist for a new striker, but they are some way from meeting Napoli’s €25m asking price.

According to Il Secolo XIX, Samp have proposed a deal that could rise to €15m, depending on bonuses, while Napoli want €10m more than that.

However, the newspaper believes both clubs could meet halfway at €20m, which would cover the fee Samp received from Sevilla for Luis Muriel.

The Colombian scored 18 Serie A goals in two seasons on loan at Udinese and has since returned to Napoli, where he is surplus to requirements.
