De Ligt won't go to England

Sky Sports understands that De Ligt ignores a subject of interests for Manchester United, Liverpool, Juventus and other European powerhouses.

The Ajax captain has been valued at around €75million for his signature and De Ligt was earlier said to be prepared to keep his options open.

Barcelona were thought to be favourites in such many candidates to sign this world-class defender in the summer.

'Barca have made contact with Griezmann'

Valverde has admitted that Barcelona have already contacted Griezmann over a possible move this summer.

'It is true we have already made contact,' Valverde said when talking about the potential signing of Griezmann.

The 28-year-old's reported £105million release clause is set to be activated on July 1 and Barcelona look set to nab their man after both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City pulled out of the race to sign him.

Ronaldo to partner with Mourinho

Allegri's imminent Juventus exit will leave a void on the bench at the Allianz Stadium and Ronaldo has put Mourinho's name forward for the job.

The No.7 worked with Mourinho at Real Madrid and is apparently keen to train under his orders again.

La Gazzetta dello Sport explained that Mourinho has two important people backing his candidacy, one being Ronaldo and the other Jorge Mendes.

Toni stays!

German midfielder Toni Kroos has officially signed contract extension with Real Madrid until 2023.

Kroos joined Real Madrid in 2014, for a fee of €25 million. In Madrid, Kroos became a vital part of the team and he helped Real win three consecutive Champions League titles from 2015–16 to 2017–18.

Recently, there are reports revealing that Man Utd want Kroos to be involved in Real Madrid's pursuit of Pogba. Such rumours were proved false after the World Cup champion makes extension with Los Blancos.

Vincent leaves!

Vincent Kompany is to leave Manchester City after 11 years of service and 10 trophies at the club.

And he confirms that he will re-join Anderlecht take up the role and kick start the next phase of his career.

Kompany played his final game for City in the FA Cup final win over Watford on Saturday and the shock announcement was made less than 24 hours later.
