He has no trouble entertaining audiences of thousands on his BBC One show.

And Michael McIntyre put on a very animated display as he watched his beloved Tottenham Hotspur be beaten 0 - 1 by West Ham at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Saturday.

The comedian, 43, jumped to his feet in frustration when things went downhill for Spurs during the Premier League game on Saturday.

He then appeared to shout instructions at the losing side when midfielder Michail Antonio scored for West Ham.

Michael, who appeared to be joined at the match by sons Oscar, 11, and Lucas, 14, then slumped back down in his seat and grabbed his hair in annoyance at the scene before him.

At one point, the comedian leaned back against his chair with his head thrown back in horror as his two sons covered their faces.

Michael, who shares his sons with wife Kitty, is the host of BBC One's Saturday night comedy spectacle Michael McIntyre's Big Show.

The programme features a weekly Unexpected Star of the Show and the comedian often convinces a celebrity to hand over their mobile phone for the Send To All segment.

Cheryl, Olly Murs, Miranda Hart and James Corden have sat by in the past and watched as Michael sent risky texts to all their friends and family.

The comedian is currently embarking on the very end of his ambitious Big World Tour - which began in Malta, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland in April 2017.

This year, Michael has ventured across Dubai and Australia and he is set to head to New Zealand throughout June.

The comedian is also expected to head to Canada for a single date at Montreal's Théâtre Maisonneuve in July.
