The stars of LA Galaxy and Los Angeles FC are proving to be the best players in the MLS, both are real contenders for the MVP and are close to breaking a league record.

LA's biggest stars are having a fierce to the MLS season, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Carlos Vela are in overwhelming form in 2019, so amazing that both have true chance to aim for the MLS's single-season goals record which belongs to Atlanta United striker, Josef Martínez.
Martínez record has four more goals than any player did before, and it seemed that it was going to take some time until we saw his record fall, but with the step marked by Zlatan and Vela, it looks like its fall is getting closer.
The Atlanta United player scored 31 goals in 34 games in the last campaign, but in his first nine games he scored only six goals, and so far this season Josef has scored two goals.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has in the 2019 MLS season an average of 1.4 per game by scoring seven goals in 5 games or seven goals in 450 minutes played.
Carlos Vela is the scoring leader at the moment with ten goals in nine games or 799 minutes played, which is an average of 1.13 per game, while Martínez by this time in 2018 had seven goals in 771 minutes played, an average of 0.82 goals per game.
Numbers that set Zlatan and Vela close to reaching what the LA Galaxy captain promised at the beginning of the season, to break every MLS record, but the question is, which one will do it?
