Tevez's house robbed during wedding

The Boca Juniors striker had a memorable wedding weekend - unfortunately for all of the wrong reasons as his house was broken into

Carlos Tevez's wedding to Vanessa Mansilla was spoiled as thieves looted their house while the couple tied the knot.

The wedding lasted three days over the Christmas period, but was cut short as Tevez was forced to return home to Buenos Aires after his house was broken into.

The thieves broke into their home through an under construction house currently being built on the edge of the property.

Initially, Tevez did not lodge an official complaint about the robbery, as he did not want the story to be reported by the media. However, the news has since been widely reported, and has added weight to speculation that the Argentina international could leave Boca Juniors.

Tevez has been linked with a move away from the Argentinian champions, with a transfer to China one of the options for the 32-year-old striker.

The former Manchester United and Manchester City frontman re-joined Boca in July 2015, but is expected to announce his plans for next season in the coming weeks.
