Barcelona vs Man Utd

First Leg Result: Man Utd 0-1 Barcelona: Shaw own goal gives Solskjaer another mountain to climb

Kick Off: 21:00 (CET)

Date: Tue, 16-Apr-19

Probable Lineups:

Barcelona News:

Ousmane Dembele made his first appearance in a month at the weekend and will compete with Philippe Coutinho for a spot in Barcelona's front three.

Barcelona's midfield had problems at Old Trafford and Ernesto Valverde may draft in Sergi Roberto or Arturo Vidal here.

Man Utd News:

Luke Shaw is suspended for Tuesday's trip to Barcelona, which will likely see Ashley Young switch over to left-back. Matteo Darmian was back on the bench at the weekend and could play at right-back over Diogo Dalot.

Nemanja Matic will reportedly be fit to feature for Manchester United and Alexis Sanchez has also been tipped to make the squad after a long spell on the sidelines.

Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford were rested at the weekend and will return to the starting XI against Barcelona.

Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata will compete for a spot in midfield, with the former expected to get the nod due to the energy he provides.

Focus:

Barcelona hold a 1-0 lead from the first leg and are heavy favourites to make the last four of the Champions League. They haven't conceded in their last three matches and are unbeaten at home since November.

Manchester United have gone completely off the boil in recent weeks and were fortunate to beat West Ham on Saturday. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have lost their last three away matches in all competitions.

You cannot completely write off United here after they overturned a bigger first leg deficit against Paris Saint-Germain in the last round but it would be absolutely remarkable if they managed to knock Barcelona out on Tuesday.

WhoScored Prediction:

Barcelona 2-0 Man Utd

Juventus vs Ajax

First Leg Result: Ajax 1-1 Juventus: Ajax deliver surprise again but Ronaldo header earns the edge

Kick Off: 21:00 (CET)

Date: Tue, 16-Apr-19

Probable Lineups:

Juventus News:

Cristiano Ronaldo will return to the starting XI after being given the weekend off but Juventus will not have Mario Mandzukic to call on here.

Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa or Moise Kean are the options to replace Mandzukic.

Giorgio Chiellini has not recovered from injury in time to make the squad but Emre Can has been included by Max Allegri.

Daniele Rugani was a fitness doubt ahead of Tuesday's game but is in the squad and expected to start here. Veteran Andrea Barzagli is on standby.

Federico Bernardeschi will incur a one-match ban with his next booking.

Ajax News:

Ajax have recovered Noussair Mazraoui from suspension but have now lost left-back Nicolás Tagliafico to a ban. Daley Sinkgraven may get a rare start as a result.

Frenkie de Jong is a huge doubt for Tuesday after pulling up with a hamstring injury in the first half of Ajax's 6-2 win over Excelsior on Saturday.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar played a direct hand in four league goals at the weekend but it not expected to start here.

De Jong's absence may force Ajax into a change of formation and hand an opportunity for Kasper Dolberg to start.

Matthijs de Ligt and Daley Blind are one booking away from a one-match ban.

Focus:

Juventus are the favourites after drawing 1-1 away to Ajax in the first leg. The Old Lady have only lost one home game in all competitions this season and that was back in November.

Ajax may rue missed chances from the first leg but have nothing to fear after winning away to Real Madrid in the last round.

Juventus are not at their best at the moment but it is hard to see past Cristiano Ronaldo inspiring Ajax through to the semi finals, which would be Portuguese's 9th in a row.

WhoScored Prediction:

Juventus 2-1 Ajax
