All Football Power Rankings of the Week: Barca remain atop as Real Madrid return

Hello again! We organize clubs of Europe's top 5 leagues into an order that reflects the up-to-the-minute hierarchy every Tuesday. 

The rankings are a season-long measurement of clubs, tracking teams throughout 2018-19 and taking into account results from all competitions. Our rankings consider advanced stats, full-season play and recent performance with some gut feeling mixed in. 

Sides that have lost the fewest games naturally rank higher—though the strength of opposition met in a loss is considered—and both UEFA Champions/Europa League form and presence are used as tiebreakers for those with similar records. Teams that gather big wins against strong opponents get a boost.

Arsenal reached Europa League last 8 with a great comeback at home.

Aubameyang scored double as Gunners erased the first-leg deficit to reach Europe League last 8 with 4-3 aggregate win.

Emery's side will face Serie A runners-up Napoli in quarter-finals, can they beat Ancelotti's side to go through?

7. Bayern Munich

Bayern hit 6 goals again in Bundesliga rout after Champions League exit.

In the return leg of Champions League, Bayern Munich were eliminated by Liverpool as no German club reached the last 8.

In Bundesliga, James Rodriguez scored his first hat-trick for Bayern as the Bavarians demolished Mainz 05 with a sensational 6-0 win.

6. Man Utd

Solskjaer's side suffered second defeat in a row and crashed out of FA Cup.

Giant-killers Wolves shocked Man Utd with a 2-1 win to end the FA Cup tour of Solskjaer's side.

5. Paris Saint-Germain

PSG bounced back from Champions League exit with two Ligue 1 wins last week.

Di Maria dazzled as free-scoring PSG beat Dijon 4-0 to bounce back from United defeat.

In Classique, the Argentine star shined again to beat Marseille 3-1 as PSG go 20 points clear with one game in hand.

4. Liverpool

Liverpool knocked Bayern out in Champions League and kept the pressure on Man City in Premier League.

Super Mane & Van Dijk sealed a 3-1 victory at Allianz Stadium to go through by overcoming Bayern Munich.

in Premier League, Mane shined again to erase Van Dijk error as Klopp's side beat Fulham to go top with one more game played.

3. Juventus 

Juventus completed epic comeback to eliminate Atletico but suffered first league loss later on.

Ronaldo scored his 8th Champions League hat-trick to inspire epic comeback as Juventus eliminated Atletico at home to go through.

In Serie A, the Portuguese star has been granted rest but his absence cost Bianconeri's first league defeat of the season.

2. Man City 

Man City smashed Schalke 04 to reach Champions League last 8 and booked the place in FA Cup semis.

Sane delivered four assists against his former side as Man City demolished Schalke 7-0 to go through.

In FA Cup, Aguero came off the bench to seal controversial comeback which knocked VAR-less Swansea out. 

1. Barcelona 

Messi-inspired Barcelona remained atop of La Liga and reached Champions League last 8.

Messi scored twice and laid on two assist as Barcelona destroyed Lyon 5-1 to go through at Camp Nou.

In La Liga, the Argentine superstar scored a ridiculous hat-trick to see off Real Betis in a 4-1 win.
