Andres Iniesta took part in an interesting chat with talents from La Masia, where he wanted to share his personal experiences from when he arrived at the old Masia, in September 1996, until now, when he has become one of the great references of Barcelonismo. The chat, organised by Masia 360, took place at the Masia residence which consists of four blocks—personal development, risk prevention  in sport, sports and health, and cultural formation.

Iniesta enjoyed the company of the youngsters, speaking about how he decided to leave Fuentealbilla and come to Barcelona, his first days there, first training session when he was 16 and Llorenc Serra Ferrer was in charge, the Stamford Bridge goal, injuries, the death of his friend Dani Jarque, and his World Cup winning goal. And, of course, his great accomplishments with Barcelona as part of a legendary team alongside Xavi, Leo Messi and many others.

The event was directed by Ruben Bonastre, and he managed the questions from the La Masia residents towards the skipper. The midfielder ended with a big photograph of every body there and some advice. “The important thing is not the success, but the path. Believe 200 per cent in your chances and take it step by step. You don’t want to  take it two steps at a time on the way to becoming footballers.”
