Jaime Mata keeps breaking records

Of all the players embarking on their first ever LaLiga Santander campaign this season, nobody has netted more goals than the 13 of Getafe's Jaime Mata.
He leads fellow debutants Raul De Tomas and Andre Silva by one and three goals respectively.
The 30-year-old had never played in the top flight before, but he is enjoying life in the division and has now scored in five consecutive rounds, something no Getafe player had done before.
As much as Mata is rewriting his club's history books, his goal is to help the team qualify for Europe.
"I'd opt for the Champions League," he said, when asked to choose between a top four finish, the top scorer award or a Spain call-up.
