Real Salt Lake turned Rio Tinto Stadium into a fortress of sorts last year, going 11-2-4 throughout the regular season.
Mike Petke's team will look to continue that trend when opening its 2019 home slate Saturday evening against Western Conference foe Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
The former began their campaign last weekend with a 1-1 draw away to the Houston Dynamo, while the latter suffered a 3-2 home loss to Minnesota United FC to begin the Marc Dos Santos era.
