The cousin of the late Emiliano Sala believes that, had more care been taken in the player's travel arrangements from Nantes to Cardiff, his death could have been avoided.
The plane carrying Sala and pilot David Ibbotson went missing on 21 January disappeared over the English Channel, before the wreckage was found and the Argentine's body identified last week.
Matias Gatti expressed his content at the process and feels that Sala was killed by those in charge of the player's itinerary.
"They killed Emiliano," Gatti said in Sala's home province of Santa Fe.
"There were many irregularities.
"Everything was done badly and they obligated him to get on that plane," he stated.
Sala's home town of Santa Fe bid farewell to the former Nantes forward for the last time Friday morning.
"He began to be an important figure and they left him alone because he went by himself without a representative," Gatti continued.
"I believe that this should be investigated because there many irregularities from the start.
"They should have taken a bit more care and made him travel in a plane in different state," he concluded.
