Anthony Martial had Manchester United fans reminiscing about the days Cristiano Ronaldo was running down the wing for them after his stunning goal at Fulham.

The Frenchman received the ball on the left flank in his own half after a Fulham attack had broken down and immediately looked to exploit the space in front of him with Denis Odoi caught upfield.
He drove at the Fulham defence with pace and purpose before skipping past Maxime Le Marchand's challenge to burst through one-on-one with goalkeeper Sergio Rico.

Odoi was desperately trying to get back and was clipping at his heels as he shifted the ball on to his favoured right foot. Despite the pressure, Martial kept his balance and composure, opening up his body to curl into the far corner to double the visitors' advantage after Paul Pogba had opened the scoring.
It was like deja vu for some United fans, who could remember witnessing an eerily similar goal from fan-favourite Ronaldo at Craven Cottage back in 2007.
The Portugal star scored the winner that day to earn United a scarcely deserved three points.
Ronaldo too picked up the ball in his own half on the left-hand side and sprinted forward with the ball to ignite a counter attack.

He skipped past two challenges and drifted infield before working it on to his right foot to drill into the bottom corner.
United fans were quick to spot the comparisons and took to social media to express their delight after Martial's goal.
One fan wrote on Twitter: 'That Martial goal actually reminded me of CR7 so bad.'
Another user posted a video of Ronaldo's goal from 2007 and wrote alongside it: 'I've seen that Martial goal before.'
The 23-year-old is yet to scale the heights Ronaldo reached during his days at Old Trafford but is making huge strides under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with this his ninth Premier League goal of the season.
