Barcelona captain Lionel Messi has been named All Football Player of the Week for the 7th time this season!
Messi highlights our All Football Team of the Week and was selected as a competitive candidate in our All Football Player of the Week Vote, in which he casts the most votes beating Ronaldo, Aguero, Benzema & Piatek to the award.
The 31-year-old superstar scored 3 goals and contributed 1 assist in Barca's two games last week, including a double in his side's 2-2 draw with Valencia on the weekend, which saw the Blaugrana come back from two goals down to salvage a draw.
Messi, meanwhile, has now scored 21 La Liga goals in 2018/19, making him the leading marksman in Europe's top five leagues.
As such, the Argentinean has reached the 20-goal mark for an 11th campaign running, becoming the first player in history to score at least 20 league goals in 11 successive seasons.
