Emiliano Sala's ex-girlfriend: I wish I'd told you all that was in my heart

Berenice Skhair, the former girlfriend of Emiliano Sala, has written a touching message to the player whose plane went missing over the English Channel on Monday evening.

She is not giving up hope of finding the player who just signed for Cardiff City.

"Don't stop searching for him please," she wrote on Instagram.

"I can't understand this accident or that they'd suspend the search due to bad weather.

"I can't believe they're suspending the search until tomorrow, losing time.

"I can't stop thinking about you and thinking that you're healthy and safe.

"Do dreams have an expiry date?

"What I regret the most is not having told you all that comes out of my heart.

"I don't know how to express myself and this is something that I'll learn going forward.

"Those who know me know the way my eyes shine when talking about you.

"I was lucky to know you.

"I have a broken heart and can't accept this.

"I have faith and hope."
